imageThis is the perfect adventure for those who wants to combine kayaking , relaxing and a bit of hiking. We'll camp on the Island of Levrnaka,just next to the pebble beach,in the family owned campsite under the pine and olive trees. The hiking trails will take us on some of the most spectacular places where we can enjoy in the view on this magnificent labyrinth.The most impressive part is to paddle under the high cliffs that rise up to 180 meters above sea and some of them fall straight to 90 meters deep.Kornati Islands are totally different than the rest of the Adriatic Island by it's terrain and landscape.Join us and find out from our guides some more stories about the historical , cultural and nature heritage as they are coming from the island as well.

 

ITINERARY

Day 1 Zadar - Levrnaka

At 08:30 or by agreement, departure from Sv.Filip Jakov situated near Zadar to Kornati Islands. A four hour voyage by boat passing by ten islands and islets to get to the Island of Levrnaka where our base camp is located. After setting up the camp and free time to explore the surrounding follows the dinner at the family tavern with a short presentation of the program.

Day 2 Levrnaka – Kornat

After breakfast at the camp we will teach you (first time paddlers) about the safety measures and techniques of rowing at the Lojena beach.From there we will head of to the Island Kornat where we will visit the Fort Tureta from the6'Th century and the little church Holy Mother of Tarca,Queen of the Sea from the Byzantium Era.Then we will paddle to the vivid Kravljačica Cove where we lift out our kayaks and start hiking to the top of Metlina (237 m),the highest peak of Kornati. From there you can have a view on the whole Kornat archipelago and the rest of the islands.When we return to Kravljačica we will take some free time to swim and rest and than return to Levrnaka for a dinner.

Day 3 Levrnaka – Telascica Nature Park

After breakfast and refreshing in the sea we will be heading to the heavenly nature park Telašćica passing by the lighthouse Island of Vela Sestrica( big little sister )from the year 1871.The pulls take us to Lojišće Cove on Dugi Otok where we lift our kayaks and go to Lake Mir and on the steep cliffs that are 186 m high.We will have a picnic lunch in the shade of the forest and then kayak beneath the high cliffs we had just visited.If we are lucky we will also see the dolphins that inhabit this area.Upon return we will pass by the Island Garmenjak and the fascinating rounded stone plate Taljurić.Dinner at the camp

Day 4 Levrnaka – Mana – Lavsa

After breakfast we will paddle to the magical Island Mana where we will see the remains of the fort.Mana is also the island with the longest cliff crown that are 1350 m long.After swimming and exploring this beautiful island we will be heading towards the Island of Piškera where we make a stop to rest and have lunch listening to a story about this historical island that was a fishing village in the 16th century and had about 40 houses on it, The remains of this and Roman foundations located in the sea are still here today.After our afternoon rest the tour continues to Island Lavsa where we will spend the night and have a dinner.

Day 5 Lavsa – Ravni Zakan

After breakfast follows the paddling beneath the highest Kornat cliff on Island Klobučar (80m) and along the other local islets with a picnic lunch.After the picnic we will paddle to the fishing island of Ravni Žakan and then return to Lavsa Cove where we will spend another night and have a dinner.Lavsa is loaded with historical events that our guides will tell you about.The remains of villae rusticae from the 1st. century and the remains of an ancient river and salt pan are located here

Day 6 Lavsa – Levrnaka

Breakfast and paddling back to Levrnaka, but this time we will travel along the northern part of Piškera to Island Veli Rašip where we will stop for a lunch.After lunch we will go trekking on this fascinating island and swimming in turquoise colors of its coast.Then follows returning to Levrnaka in the sandy Lojena Cove, unique in the whole archipelago. Camp dinner.

Day 7 Levrnaka

After breakfast and the rest of the activities we will spend the day resting on this beautiful sandy beach Lojena.For those who want more adventure follows brief rowing around Island Obručan and return to Lojena for lunch.In the evening, we will see the sunset from Island Mana and then we'll go to a farewell dinner .This so called extra day is good to have in case of the bad weather so we can use it on the way.

Day 8 Levrnaka – Zadar

Breakfast, packing and departure by boat to Zadar with our last sight-seeing of the Kornat Archipelago. Arrival in Zadar by 1:00 pm.or by agreement.
